These communities lie between Woodroffe to the east and Greenbank to the west with Hunt Club Rd. running along the south edge and the train tracks to the north, separting them from Briar Green and Centrepointe/ Craig Henry is also home to several businesses and schools including Sir Robert Borden High School, and the neighbourhood also has a significant Jewish population.
Craig Henry was developed from 1971 onwards and has Sir Robert Borden High School as its focal point. There are many different forms of houses in Craig Henry, including town homes, semi-detached houses, single homes and apartments. The town homes and apartments in the community are owned by Minto.
Most (35%) of the dwellings in this community were built between 1971 and 1980, with 11% pre-dating 1960, 21% built 1961 -1970, 26% built 1981 -1990, and 6% built after 1996. The nieighbourhood's 3,000 dwellings are comprised of 50% single family homes, 11% semi-detached, 32% row houses, 1% apartment duplexes, and 6% low-rise apartments. Two-thirds of homes (67%) are owned, while 32% of residents rent.
There are a number of schools in the area, including Knoxdale Public School, Briargreen, Greenbank Middle School, Abdulgadir School of Hope Pope John XXIII Elementary School and Manordale Public School. Many high-school aged teenagers attend Sir Robert Borden High School. The communities are very close to Algonquin College's Woodroffe campus.
These neighbourhoods are served by Pinecrest Mall and Bayshore Shopping centre, and some small plazas at Greenbank & Baseline, and at Greenbank Plaza in Arlington Woods.
The community has a number of parks, including Craig Henry, a bike path to Sir Robert Borden High School, a walking/cycling underpass to Centrepointe, the Craig Henry Tennis Club. At Charing Park in the middle of the community, there is a play structure, a tobogganing hill and outdoor hockey rink / basketball court and water fountain. Along the south edge, at Knoxdale and West Hunt Club Road is the Ben Franklin Soccer Dome with two large soccer fields, and a small gym
The Nepean Sportsplex is on Woodroffe Avenue (just south of Hunt Club) with an indoor pool, ice arena, and racquet sports facilities.
