This is the heart of Richmond's Chinatown, and features the "Golden Village" shopping district along No 3 Rd and along Westminster Highway. West of No 3 Road is an office/light industrial business park, and along Garden City Rd is the residential area, filled with a mix of low rise and high rise apartments/condos.

Richmond's Golden Village is Greater Vancouver's "new Chinatown" , where you can experience Asian culture in a 4-block radius. The area has shopping malls, 300 shops with the latest Asian tech gadgets and fashions, restaurants, hotels, and karaoke bars.
The neighbourhood is close to recreations along the Fraser River, including the UBC Boathouse, the Bridgepoint Marina, and the River Rock Casino Resort. Just to the north is Minoru Park, with its aquatic centre, ice arenas, a running track, two sports fields, 7 tennis courts, and arts & cultural centre, the Gateway Theatre.
The area is adjacent to Cambie Secondary just to the north and is home to Kwantlen University College, on it eastern boundary.
