Burlington, Ontario - Oakville-Burlington neighbourhoods
Burlington is Halton Region's largest city with 159,400 residents and is located on the western edge of the GTA along the Niagara Escarpment. Burlington provides easy access to the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) and highways 403, 407 and 427. Burlington has two GOTrain stations, Burlington in the middle and Aldershot in the west. Major employers here include Cogeco Cable, Boehringer Ingleheim, and Gennum Corporation.

It is very close to Hamilton's McMaster University, with Oakville's Sheridan College and University of Toronto's Mississauga campus not far away and readily accessible by GO transit. ShoppingBurlington is well retailed, with 40 retail plazas, malls and centres, mostly clustered along Fairview St and Upper Middle Rd.
