Fredericton, New BrunswickThis area is east of Highway 8 (old #2) and the University of New Brunswick. It lies on a gentle hillscape overlooking the Saint John River to the north. The area has the Fredericton Agricultural Research station to the east and some light industrial lands to the south, straddling highway #7 so it is convenient to a number of key area employers. Highway #7 to the south gives it ready access to both the Trans-Canada and the Fredericton Airport.Schools Students in this area can expect a commute to school at all ages. Shopping The area is readily accessible to the city's shopping malls along Prospect Street, including Regent Mall, the city's largest. Recreation The area has much green space particularly along the Saint John River, which includes the Trans-Canada recreational trail. The area also has two large parks, Kimble Sports Field and Reading Street Park. Homes This area is on south side of the New Highway #2, straddling the New Maryland highway #101. This area includes a number of new developments, including Springwater Place, Applewood Acres, Castle Acres, Pine Ridge Estates, Peterson park and Sunrise Estates. Community Map
