Fredericton, New BrunswickThis is the area between Dundonald & Beaverbrook on the north and the Prospect Street & highway #8 on the south and east. This area is bounded on one site by Odell Park and on the other by the various universities. This area is blessed by great views and yet being close to it all.Schools These neighbourhoods have two elementary schools, two high schools, St Thomas University and University of New Brunswick, which also is home to the Provincial Archives. The downtown public library is not far away. Shopping These neighbourhoods have several shopping centres, including Regent Mall, the largest in the city, and the downtown is not too far away. Recreation The area has significant green space, several community parks, and access to the Trans-Canada Trail recreational pathways that wind south from the adjoining Odell Park. There are excellent athletic facilities on campus, and there are rustic recreational trails around Odell Park. The neighbourhood also has a running tack, an ice arena, an outdoor pool and tennis courts. To the northwest is the Fredericton Exhibition, who's property is also home to the Fredericton Coliseum, the Capital Winter Club and the YM-YWCA. Homes There are currently some issues regarding the safeguarding of Fredericton's well-supplied municipal water sources, requiring some home owners in this area to switch from oil heating to natural gas Community Map
