The communities in north eastern Saskatoon are encircled by Attridge Dr, College Dr and the railway, with the neighbourhoods wrapped around the Sutherland Industrial area. These choice communities have homes of all varieties and sizes, falling in the price range of medium to
high, with the proximity to the University driving the prices here higher than
average for the city. Other than the parks and one, rather small, shopping plaza there aren't many other recreational options. This can be a downfall if transportation is a problem.
Schools
The community has six elementary schools, three public and three Catholic, with a Catholic high school in the community and the public high school just south of the area. There is a public library at the west side of the community, on Central Ave. The relatively small West Co-op College is on the southwest corner of the community.
Shopping
The most convenient shopping is in a community shopping plaza, but for major shopping, locals head a mile south of the area, along 8th St. with Grosvenor Park Centre, Plainsmen Plaza, College Park Mall and College Park Mall.
Recreation
In the area you'll find a number of mid-sized parks including Ernest Lindner Park, Les Kerr Park and John Avant Park. Just to The north is Silverspring park and the Saskatoon Zoo. Travel east on College Dr. to find the Sundown Drive-In theatre.
Homes
There are all sizes of homes in the area. The price ranges from $100,000 to $300,000, with ones with a man made lake in the back going as high as $400,000.
