These communities are west of McCarthy Blvd, and straddle the Wascana Creek pathway and particularly the large AE Wilson Park. The Mount Royal community is bisected by the east-west railway line. Dieppe Place has a broader mixture of townhouses and duplexes, in addition to the usual detached homes. Schools The community has two public elementary schools, with Catholic schools and high schools for both boards nearby. The community is close to the Canadian Theological Seminary and the Canadian Bible College, The Luther College, and the SIAST ESL (English as a Second Language ) Centre. To the south is the RCMP training school, as well as its F Division Headquarters. Shopping Shoppers generally head to Normandview Mall to the north or head into Downtown, which is relatively close-by. Recreation The community is divided by the Wascana Creek recreational pathway, linking AE Wilson Park to the west with Wascana Centre to the south east. The community also has an ice arena, the Rick Hansen optimist Playground on its western edge. Across Dewdney is Pioneer Village, Government House, the RCMNP Centennial Museum, and down the street is Regina Exhibition Park. Two golf courses are just south of the neighbourhood, just north of the airport lands. Homes The houses in these neighbourhoods are generally smaller detached bungalows, duplexes, and townhouses. House prices in Mount Royal range from $55,000 to $155,000, and in Dieppe Place range from $38,000 to $104,000. Community Map
