[ Other Neighbourhoods | Neighbourhoods Map ] This area, north of St John's includes The Town of Torbay and the communities of Logy Bay, Middle Cove and Outer Cove. The Town of Torbay has serviced lots with municipal water & sewer while most homes in of Logy Bay, Middle Cove and Outer Cove are on rural unserviced lots. The community has excellent roads and is very accessible to the eastern end of the #1 Trans-Canada Highway and to St John's International Airport. Schools Th area's Catholic high school students can go to Holy Trinity right in Torbay, which also has a public library. The community is a few kilometres down the road from Cabot College and Memorial University. Shopping The southern part or the area is home to the Big Box stores on Stavenger Rd, just north of the #1. A futher south on the Torbay Rd are the Torbay Mall and the Croaker Meadow Plaza. Recreation Torbay is the southern terminus of the Father Troy Trail, which forms part of Newfoundland's East Coast Trail system. Opposite the airport is the Clovely Golf Course. The area is home to the MUN Ocean Science Centre and the Torbay Museum. Community Map
