This community is located just north of Metrotown, with excellent access to SkyTrain transit (Patterson Station), and the Kingsway into Vancouver. Burnaby Hospital is close (but not too close!). This includes the neighbourhoods of Garden Village west of Willingdon, Forgate or Marlborough east of Willington. Homes This area has single-family and semi-detached homes, with high density high-rise apartment and condos closest to Metrotown. Schools The community is served by 2 elementary schools, Moscrop High School, and a public library at Metrotown. Post-secondary students are close to BCIT, and have transit access to Douglas College in New Westminster, SFU's downtown campus. Shopping The community's shopping is centered around Metrotown and along Kingsway. 
RecreationTo the east is the large park around Deer Lake, to the west is Central Park, which is home to Swangard Stadium (home of the Vancouver Giant's baseball team), a running track, an outdoor pool, and a pitch & putt golf course.
