  • Marpole, at the southern end of the Granville Street shopping district, directly across from Vancouver International Airport, has an industrial area along the banks of the Fraser River. Southwest Marine Drive, which runs along the Fraser, easily connects the community (and its industry) to South Burnaby and New Westminster to the east, and the airport to the south. Highway 99 to the Delta, Tsawwassen, White Rock and the United States connects to Granville Street at the Bridge Oak Street Bridge into Richmond. Marpole will have a new SkyTrain station at Southwest Marin Drive on the new Canada Line to Richmond.

Marpole (originally known as Eburne) is one of the oldest in Vancouver. The area lies south of West 57th Avenue, and is between Angus Drive on the west and Ontario Street on the east. The neighbourhood is close to the airport, and residents can watch and hear jets flying by everyday.

    Homes

Marpole has many 4-storey apartments surrounding the Granville Street shopping area. Traffic is heavy in the area, so parking can be difficult.
