  • These neighbourhoods are on the south shore of Port Moody, along the east slope of Burnaby Mountain. Also included are the neighbourhoods of East Hill and Seaview. This part of Port Moody is predominantly residential, with a mix of single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments There is some commercial development on Clarke Road. Along the west boundary of Port Moody, these neighbourhoods abut the Petro Canada Refinery lands, with some green space separation.


    Shopping
    There is some shopping along Clarke Rd, though shoppers can head south to Lougheed Mall, or east into Port Moody's central shopping district.

    Schools
    These neighbourhoods have 3 elementary schools, and adjoin Port Moody Secondary. Simon Fraser University is very close, by road or bike,

    Recreation
    Just west of the municipal boundary, in Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area is the Trans-Canada Trail, which climbs up the mountain to Centennial Park with its scenic views. There is a marina to the north, off the Barnet Highway, and an outdoor pool in Westhill Park.

    Homes
    Most of the housing in Glenayre, Seaview, and College Park has been built within the
    last 35 years, and is not yet requiring extensive renovation. Some older pockets along Clarke Road and the Barnet Highway are being redeveloped into new single and multi-family residences. Harbour Heights is one of the youngest neighbourhoods in the Port Moody, with a variety of housing types are being built.
