    These prestigious communities are south of Callingwood Rd (in the west) and Wanyandi Rd (in the east), and nestled into the parkland along the North Saskatchewan River. There are lots of new homes being built in this area, including Bridlewood, at the south end of Jamieson Place, where homes back into reserved greenspace. Lessard Park (including the neighbourhoods of Donsdale, Dechene and Gariopy) is on the eastern end of this community, along both sides of Lessard Rd. To the south is the exclusive Wedgewood Heights area, including the new Wedgewood Ravine, where homes tend to run in the $200,000 price range.

    Schools
    This community has one public elementary school and a Catholic elementary school, though the high schools for both boards are a long distance away.

    Shopping
    There is a small shopping plaza to the north, in the middle of Callingwood. Retailing in the area is dominated by West Edmonton Mall (the world's largest, with 800 stores & services) to the west, though the smaller Meadowlark Park (to the east) is popular for the speed of getting in & out.

    Recreation
    West Edmonton Mall, about a mile to the north of the community dominates area recreation. There are three multiplex cinemas, and indoor amusement park (the world's largest), a wave pool and waterslide (the world's largest), indoor mini golf, and lots more, all surrounded by (the world's largest) parking lot. There is a YMCA recreational facility to the north of the community. The prestigious Edmonton Country Club is on the eastern edge of the community overlooking the River Valley
