    Harvest Hills is located to the south of Country Hills Boulevard and east of Centre St (when Centre St is closed, traffic will move to Harvest Hills Blvd, the new dividing line between NE and NW Calgary). The neighbourhoods is built around Harvest Hills Lake, and has a golf course on the east side. The neighbourhood is not only close to the airport and to the major highway to the north. Country Hills Boulevard gives it fast access to the Trans-Canada Highway to Banff.

    Schools
    Public board pupils are bused to Brentwood Elementary, Colonel Irvine Junior High on Northmount Drive, and John Diefenbaker High in Huntington.

    Separate board students are bused to St. Margaret's elementary/Junior High in Charleswood, and St. Francis High on Northmount Drive. This year there is a new elementary/junior high opening in Harvest Hills.

    Shopping
    A community strip mall is open in Harvest Hills, with established shopping is nearby at Beddington Town Centre with several stores and a Calgary Co-op, and the Deerfoot Mall, across the Deerfoot Trail. Country Hills Town Centre, on the north side of Country Hills Boulevard east of Centre Street, is under construction with phase one containing 120,000 square feet of retail space including a food store.

    Recreation
    Harvest Hills Golf Course is a nine-hole golf course on the east side of the community. An 18-acre stormwater pond for skating, boating and waterfowl. Harvest Hills is also connected to the east-west pathway system for runners and cyclists.



    Homes
    Genstar began the development in the late 1980s. The community now has nearly 1,300 single and multi-family houses of the 1,800 when the development is complete. Homes in Harvest Hills are mostly starter homes being built by Broadview, Carolina, Crossley, Elite, Jager Industries, Jayman, Nevada, Riverdale, Shane, Sterling, Stonecroft Properties, and Trico.
