Cougar Ridge is found between the Old Banff Coach Road and Canada Olympic Park, and just east of the planned Stoney Trail south extension. Crestmont is located west of Stoney Trail, across the Trans-Canada from Valley Ridge.
Schools
Public board pupils go to Glamorgan Elementary and Glenbrook Elementary, A.E. Cross Junior High on 37th Street S.W., and Ernest Manning High off 17th Avenue S.W.
Separate board students attend St. Andrew Elementary in Glamorgan, St. Gregory Elementary/Junior High in Glendale Meadows, and either St. Mary's High downtown or Bishop Carroll High on Crowchild Trail.
Shopping
Shopping is found in two directions, east in the Bowness/Montgomery areas which has mostly small retail, or north, up Stoney Trail & Crowchild to Crowfoot Centre which has "big box" retailers and a multiplex theatre.

There is a 10 screen multiplex cinema in nearby West Hills Town Centre, and
There is a golf course across the #1, and Canada Olympic Park's world-class facilities are adjoining, with ready access to the Rockies via the Trans-Canada Highway.
Cross Country skiing and snowmobiling & 4-wheel driving are found a half hour west in Bragg Creek.
Homes
The homes in these neighbourhoods are Move-up and Executive/Estate homes. Homes in the Crestmont area sit on lots of 1/8 to 1.2 acre. Builders in this area include Shane, NuVista, Sterling, August and Albi.
